 | In todays newspaper a story I read said that Beazley had lost two elections and one leadership challenge.
I coulda sworn he lost *two* leadership challenges or am I mistaken?

Kim has lost 2 elections and 2 leadership challenge ballots.
2 + 2 = 4

He resigned immediately after 2001. So he only lost to Latham once and never to Crean.

BZZZZZT Wrong.
Having a memory longer then 5 minutes, I clearly remember Beazley resigning as opposition leader after the 2001 election and saying it was time for someone else in the party to have a go.

So that is not the point of this thread
Beazley challenged Crean in 2003 and lost Beazley and Latham went at it in late 2003 and he lost
4 time loser 2 by the public 2 by the party
