How to have a Fireproof Christmas Tree (So they say, don't burn your tree to
test the recipe)

Fireproof Christmas Tree
soak trunk of tree in a five gallon bucket with this mixture for 5 days
-one pint of clear corn syrup
-four ounces of liquid bleach
-two ounces of kitchen vinegar
-one half teaspoon of borax
-two ounces of wool-lite

Your ornaments will likely melt, but the tree shouldn't burn.

I tried the recipe. I think in the future, Rasta, you have to mention
that the tree should be a real one. The needles melted on our
artifical one. My grandkids were a bit pissed at me. Luckily they
still believes in Santa so I hung the naughty and nice thing over
their heads.

Merry Christmas to all.

The important thing Bruce, is that your tree was safer than the extension
cord bundle you leave behind the tree. Let's fireproof the tree, before we
put batteries in the smoke detector, take the octupus out of the electrical
outlet, and put some salt on that icey part of the driveway..
