 | MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone in Brat land, and beyond. Does Santa still
arrive in a helicopter, for the christmas party, at the mess hall, or has it
gone hi teck now? Ahh yes remember the christmas parties on the base. The
tobogan parties, the snow and ice scultures that we built and painted with
food colouring. We all had our own two story snow forts in the the snow
banks in front of our houses, untill the huge snow blowers came by,and
reduced them to ranch style.Mary poppins played at the theater for almost
two weeks but we never complained cause at christmas it was always free, and
everybody got a big candy cane at the px that sometimes lasted for two days,
if you stuck it in the snow at the bottom of the hill while you took your
run down the hill so you could suck on it on the long treck back to the top.
Wow we had energy to burn back then, now we try to park as close as posible
to the store so we don't have such a long way to walk with a Full grocery
cart.
Good times eh!!!
