I was possessed by Demons on Saturday, and signed up for a mountain bike
race in the Shorthills provincial park.

Let me see

-12
Snow
frozen patches to fall on
open streams to freeze up your brakes on the next steep downhill
and let horses use the trails last week when they were warm and soft, so
they would be full of frozen hoofprints
oh and ride 12 kms to and from the course

At the time I thought it was one of the worst afternoons I've ever had ,but
hey I had my picture taken so you can see what crazy looks like.

Yep - it's official you are nuts!
But nice outfit Doug. And looks like you might have had a good time in spite
of the freeze.

Happy cycling,

Jackie

You forgot about frozen horse pies.....watch out for them. Op[s too late.
At least if you had a spill cause of them there is no smell.
You are crazy Doug. I have stayed in most of our snowy cold days.
Brrrrrrrrr Now we have rain......lots of rain. Luckily Langley as well as
Abbotsford got
less rain then the rest of the lower mainland. We still had areas that
flooded.

Dora

All told I would rather have the snow than rain. I can always put on one
more pair of Stanfield's to see me through the day.

You know the more time elapsed since the race, the more enjoyable it
becomes. Probably by next year I will go in it again.

Crazy for sure, but not the craziest thing you could do ....

I've given your name to "powers that be" - 'cause, _ in my opinion _
signing up again next year would be the craziest thing you could do ....

Is using a stale pizza crust as a scapper while washing dishes count as
crazy, or just weird ? ( I couldn't find the scrub brush in that pile of
dishes for a couple of minutes, so I thought...."would THIS work ....?).
