You should be able to get a firearms business license that allows you to possess certain prohibited firearms if you are in the movie prop rental business. This license was about $1000.00 a year when I checked some years back. You do not personaly possess the firearms, your movie rental business does.
For all it matters, prohibited firearms shoot the same bullets as non prohibited. The cartridges may differ but a bullet is a bullet once it is fired. The prohibited firearms scenario is the old "good guns / bad guns " red herring. There are no bad guns, only bad people....

Funny how a fictional entity like a company can have more rights than a flesh and blood human.

The CFO Alberta has just sent out a letter stating that All special authorities to possess converted autos were issued in error and now 12(3) firearms can only be fired at DND ranges.
Anyone with a list of DND ranges that allow civilians to use them? ? ? ? ?
I thought not...
IT is amazing that the CFO ( or someone higher up) things that it would reduce crime and improve public safety by keeping law abiding citizens from shooting 12(3) guns on regulated gun ranges.
This restriction tells us that it is NOT about reducing crime or increasing public safety.
