 | I'm looking for an inexpensive product or project to relay IR signals into my closed stereo cabinet. I don't need to cover any distance- I just want to be able to point my remote at the outside of the cabinet and repeat the signal inside the cabinet.
I haven't been able to find plans on the internet, and the pre-made products I've seen in this arena are too expensive and do a lot more than I need them to.
Any thoughts?

HUH??? I thought lafayette radio went out of business in the late 70's. Did they somehow emerge out of bankruptcy court or has another company grabbed their name and reputation?
