hello-
i have an asus p5gd2 premium mb and an intellimouse explorer and the
software is intellipoint 4.12

there are two problems:
1) the panning feature (clicking the wheel and then moving the mouse
up/down back/forth to view a page) does not work

2) the mouse (with the exception of panning) works with the usb, but
not at all when connected to the ps/2 port via an adaptor.
already went into the bios and made sure the ps/2 was enabled.
advice?
