In contrast to the Polewka's of the world, who waste
their energies fighting against government
effectiveness, preventing intelligent managament of
ecosystems, trying to introduce solutions to
overpopulation that will simply never be accepted,
people with functional minds have looked at the
future, and found it is human stupidity, not
unvaccinated birds, that is the greatest threat to
human existence.

http://news.independent.co.uk/world/environment/story.jsp?story=603040

The result of consistent application of Polewka's
philosophy of "gimme, gimme, gimme", of fighting
strong government so the despoilers can continue
their depredations unimpeded, of evading taxation
necessary to manage a complex civilization, of
fighting and crippling and impoverishing the United
Nations, so that prima donna "worst offender"
nations can "opt out" of doing their parts to fix
problems like global warming, or fair sharing of
sea-floor resources, or salt poisoning of farmlands,
and accompanying fresh water shortages, or hideous
ocean pollution that is making food fish too
dangerous to eat and marine mammals die in too many
ways for science to categorize, and therefore so
that global approaches to world-girdling problems
become unattainable, seems, on expert advice, to be
that the next generations will have a much shorter
lifespan and meaner lifestyle than our own, even
without letting Polewka burn down all the vaccine
factories.

The U.N. is a third world kaffe-klatch and an opportunity for slick
operators to skim money off the top. It is managed by crooks and operators.

Well, one of our participants here has actually
worked at the UN. Perhaps you could provide evidence
that some other global organization's approach to
solving world-omnipresent problems is superior,
and will be and is being effective in that regard,
rather than merely your expression of "gimme, don't
fetter me, don't tax me" crowd prejudices?

Otherwise, you come off as a total jerk.

Just a thought.

Do you deny the dishonesty of the management of the U.N. They are a
bunch of skimmers and bribe takers. They also rolled over for Saddam and
would not implement their -unanimous- resolution.

When you are told that you are making yourself look
like a jerk by making claims without providing
evidence, and your reply is of the form "do you
deny" rather than in the form of the needed evidence
to support your claims, you merely confirm the
previous impression as a near certainty.

_I'm_ not the one who made the so far unsupported
claim. I have no requirement laid on _me_ in such a
situation to affirm or deny _anything_.

Now, unless you care to provide the answers to the
questions of my previous post, in full, and in ways
that would not make a weasel blush, I suggest you
tuck your tail firmly between your legs and slink
away silently in defeat, seppuku, the more
appropriate response by you, not being a Western
tradition.

FYI

Please note the thread title and stop working so
hard to confirm it by your example.
