 | What's wrong with polygamy? They used to have it in the Bible. Am I the only one who's tired of competing with women and other minorities for jobs when they have affirmative action and we don't?
I say let's marry 4 or 5 woman, treat them like they did in the Bible and let them go out and earn the money.

You compete for them. Looks, $$, etc... just like they did in ancient times. Not everyone is going to get 4 or 5, and most will be stuck with the really ugly women.

Not much. The nagging alone will kill you in a fairly short time.

Same place they came from in the Bible. With all the fighting back then, they probably lost a lot of guys, causing a surplus of women. Bush is doing his best to fix that by getting us in a perpetual war, and the enemy seems to be adapting to our high tech weapons (they just figured out how to blow up some armored vehicles, according to recent press reports.)
That's one of the negatives Bushies won't talk about. By exposing our high tech capabilities, we are giving the "bad guys" a perfect opportunity to learn by trial and error, just as bacteria are learning to live with antibiotics.

You're killing about equal numbers of men, women and children - probably more children admittedly - so that theory isn't going to work.

Don't worry about that, the yanks are the bacteria, and your "bad guys" are the antibiotics. Your problem (to continue the analogy) is that developing new strains of your bacteria costs huge amounts and your economy is nearing meltdown point.

They didn't kill the women. They raped them. :-( Remember, this was at the time you stormed a city with battering rams and broke down the gate. If you were on the winning side, you got to loot the city and take advantage of the women.

Actually, it is a good analogy - the analogy between the "terrorists" and the bacteria is that both have no economic resources and simply adapt to conditions. The U.S., by contrast, spends huge amounts of money on technology (antibiotics to fight bacteria and various gizmos to go after or fend off "terrorists"/"freedom fighters"/"the resistance"/etc. What you call them depends on what side you are on.
The confusion is due to the fact that the bacteria are not really bad (although we may think they are.) Bacteria simply exist and do their own thing without regard to us.
But, hey, don't blame me. I live in a "blue" state, (and one of the most liberal parts of the U.S.) Around here, Bush couldn't be elected dog catcher.

The US is quite well off - what are you talking about - you are the invaders. (aka "Terrorists")

Nahh, you are the invaders/terrorists - that's what bacteria do too!

Yupp, that's definitely the USa. (except for the not being bad bit)

 | Why not polygamy? Because polygamy is much closer to mixed- marriage than couple marriage. Having mixed- marriage legal has not made it any easier for groups such an the LDS church to get polygamy made legal. So it is even less likely that making same couples legal will aid the polygamy case.
And finally, why are you so keen on blocking polygamy or polyandry? What business it is of yours?
Bush has kiddie rape videos made at Abu Ghraib. http://www.washingtontimes.com/upi-breaking/20040717-082858-3675r.htm -- Canadian Mind Products, Roedy Green. See http://mindprod.com/iraq.html photos of Bush's war crimes

Oh I get it now, you've never "waxed the floor". I've heard that NZ women have a odoriferous hygienic problem. Must be the lack of quality education about cleanliness.

Depends if you are a woman or a guy. For a guy it is a dream at the moment because there is no legislation regarding polygamy. But if polygamy legislation is granted in the same way as same marriage laws, Husbands will have to pay support for each offspring they produce and divide his assets, house whatever with two women instead of one. So for guys it is a mixed bag.
Most women reject most men until the find the right man. To think that any woman in any culture wants to share him with another women more beautiful, younger, smarter and more charming, may be questionable.
> They used to have it in the Bible. Am I the > only one who's tired of competing with women and other minorities for > jobs when they have affirmative action and we don't?
Well, what jobs are you competing for? Most of the jobs for most of the women I know don't have benefits, pensions, and the greatest opportunities for advancement.
> I say let's marry 4 or 5 woman, treat them like they did in the Bible > and let them go out and earn the money.
But in Bible times they wore loin clothes and fig leaves and neither the guys or the women were that smart or enlightened.
> Where are all these extra women going to come from?
Hey, bud to to any church in any country and there will be lots and lots of women looking for guys to marry them and have their babies. No shortage of women in churches. Go look.
> Maybe from NZ. They're ugly but they give great head. > That was a sheep.
Women don't care how ugly they are. They know that when you want them you will give them almost anything they want - time and time again.
So in reality men are the sheep. They follow women around until they say yes.
>Chris told me he thinks our sheep are exceptionally pretty!

American women have the greatest freedom and live in the richest country in the world and the men of the world are something less than that. Does these full-bodied women care? Ask them.

One of the problems with ploygamy is everyone assuming it's the same as "polygyny." And no, this is *not* some sort of grammar lame.
For a guy it is a dream at the > moment because there is no legislation regarding polygamy.
I presume you mean some country other than the US?

That's the chance you take, you just never know, even the tests aren't 100%

Regular Eistien you are NOT! That much is extremely obvious, and even then not 100% correct, theirs transfusion problems, and other disease control related issues as well.

i have several years worth of experience in the area of bio-chemical contaminates. I know things, that others take for granted. Just like what you are taking for granted any time you increase the number of test cases from 2 to seven, in a disease control study.

The point is, moron, that's the chance you take whether your in a relationship or not. Get it? The fact is that people in a committed relationship, whether two, or more people, are at seriously less risk than people having anonymous .

Riiigghhhtt... Like they don't test the blood these days... Disease control problems? You need to be more specific.
