 | Sex education in public schools ?
Some 30 years ago former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, de-criminalized homouality, stating, " the government does not belong in the bedrooms of the nation, but what happens in public is another story". The second part of the statement you seldom hear.
Well Canadians have created laws to protect all people and rightfully so. People get rights if they deserve them, we give special rights, we positively discriminate towards the disabled, the elderly, and we are now moving to take away the special meaning of the word 'marriage'.
By the way, judges in Canad'a supreme court have been brainwashed to believe we are all equal. (part of the flawed thinking of communism). We are equal before God, or we are equal before the law. But we are not all equal.
Seems like some 'hypnotists' have entranced people to believe "we are all equal". Wrong and a deceptive literal half-truth...!
Contrary to some opinions, we do not treat all people equally, they are however equal before the law, and the law must fairly and realistically apply to them. We don't give everyone a disability pension, now do we; yes the law discriminates sometimes for valid reasons ?
So I ask a simple question, if the government decides to change the definition of marriage, what will the education classes in public schools of tomorrow teach the children of heterouals, and where will we draw the line ?

1) The government already has changed the definition of marriage. DOMA did that.
2) If same- marriages are allowed under law, education classes will teach about human uality, as they have always done. Or, as things have been going lately, they'll just teach abstinence and nothing else.
Sex is not the same thing as marriage.

 | i ask you to reconsider your concept of equality. simply because people are unequal does not mean those of a lower standard deserve unequal treatment. by making all equal before the law, people show their true colors within the boundaries of society and law. making marriage a lawful act will not hurt anybody else and will begin society's movement towards greater acceptance of another minority.
